No Trust,
Hang on, slow deep breaths, you can do it.
Now, how late is he? Is it possible he is caught up at work?
Above all remain calm, the children will be able to tell you are upset and you don't want that.
I'll stay around here for a while to talk to you. Ok ?
------------------
Just call me - Deb
------------------------
The only day I can do anything about is today, yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet mine.

Calm Down! Is there anyone with you? Could there be some reason he got held up?
I'm praying for you. And I'm still here if you need to talk.
------------------
"If you can learn from the mistakes of others, you won't have to make them youself."
lady_divine77@yahoo.com

no trust. I understand.
Please breath deep and try to calm down. There might be many reasons for his delay and most of them quite inocent.
WE sometimes tend to link everything that happens to an affair and for the most part, that link doesn't exist.
On the other hand, even if it does exist, leting yourself get nervous and panicky will prevent you to think about the best way to talk to him when he gets back.
Please try to calm down and focus on your goals. Then think about the best way to deal with this problem without lovebusting.
Hugs
Kat
------------------
Each and everyone of us is deserving of a kind word, a gentle thought, and the gift of understanding.

Hi friends,
Thanks for replying. He doesn't work today. He went to the gym at 1pm (it's a 30 minute drive away).
Well, it's now 6:45pm, and he still isn't home yet.
The kids are here with me, but I feel yucky. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/frown.gif)

What is my problem?
Why do I get this way?

He has been doing everything right. Things are going the way they should.
But why do I still have these anxiety attacks? I haven't had one for a long time 'cause he usually calls if he is late.
Last year, on Feb. 12th, was when he stole some of our money from our account to order flowers for that stupid OW. I hate this horrible trigger.
It was only the end of Nov., where she tried to contact him again. The contact is just too recent for me.

NT,
I'm with you all the way. My H's trip has triggered bad feelings for me today. Last time he said he would call as soon as he got there too, but guess who he called first? The OW. She contacted him last week ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/frown.gif) Now I'm waiting for his call this time ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/frown.gif) If your H has been so good, there's probably a good explanation. Hey, can anybody join the chat?

My friend, regaining trust takes some time.
For a while it is normal for you to fell anxious when something out of the "routine" happens. I too went trough the same. Months after recovery started, and after great effort on his side to help me with this, I would be fine for weeks, and one day, something out of the routine would happen and I would be fighting al this thoughts and suspicions. Most times I was wrong, one or two I was right. But things were progressing just the same. I tried to explain my anxiety to him, but he had trouble understanding it because he wasn't doing anything. I'll right more on the subject of trust later, but I'm in a hurry now. For now, just try to relax and think about the positive things happening. whatever happened doesn't necessarily have to do with the affair or imply a setback in your recovery.
Hugs
Kat
------------------
Each and everyone of us is deserving of a kind word, a gentle thought, and the gift of understanding.
[This message has been edited by Kat1 (edited February 13, 2000).]
