Hi All,
So far so good for me...No changes in my W...She is however very confysed about the paying the bills thing...I have done it for years, and she is very confused...She refuses to relent and think about reconciliation...My gut tells me her stubbornness is going to keep her from doing so...I hope not, but that seems to be the case...
As for me...Day one was ok day two, I was totally blindsided by resentment...An all consuming resentment, one I couldn't shake until last night...So far she hasn't tried to call me directly, and I haven't called her...
I just hope she quits eating those stupid pills and comes to her senses...Not much else to say other than this morning I feel pretty good.
Bill
------------------
BB
Bill,
It will be hard, expect the following:
The first couple of weeks you feel good, knowing in your mind you are doing "something". In your mind you will be waiting for her call, and you know you will feel great when it happens.
Then, one of two things will happen. She will either call after a few weeks (months?) or she will not.

Here is what happened to me:
After a month, she still had not called. Even though I felt pretty good for those four weeks, the reality of her not needing me sunk in. I felt worse then ever.
I started felling that I had no control over some other guy taking my love. I felt helpless, and really sank into depression.
I don't think she ever would have called, but I sent her a flower for V day and then she called. (Breaking all of the Plan B rules)
We talked about the problems we had in the realtionship and somehow it made me feel better. It hurts that she is working on making her new realtionship better based on our experience, and that she had all these issues that she never discussed with me until she found someone new. She spoke of everything in the past tense, and I think she felt my rose was "peace offering", not a romantic gesture.
I am now starting to fell resentfull again, based on her inability to work on things, and her "lining up" someone new prior to even discussing our problems. I am starting to miss her less however, and thinking about dating again.
Oh well, thats how things worked for me, and where I am at. I guess the only real advice I can give is that Jim is right. Even with "no contact" it will be a roller coaster ride of feelings.
Good Luck, Pal
[This message has been edited by Jersey Joe (edited February 16, 2000).]

Bill,
Just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you and your lovely and am keeping you both in my prayers. I have been considering planB to see if that wakes H up any. Guess it is kind of that ole saying that if you let it go and it comes back it is yours, but if you let it go and it never returns it was never yours to begin with. Something like that.
I wish you all the best in this new plan and I hope and pray you make it through no matter what the results. Just wanted to let you know I didn't drop off the earth. Too much happening and too little mind left.

Bill,
The first week or two are very tough. The overwhelming resentment is completely normal, and that's why it's essential that you avoid contact with your wife. You're primed to be a lovebusting fiend---avoid it at all costs.
It does get better.
