Hi dev,
I gather from your response to RavenHair's post that things aren't getting better - but worse? Did you ever talk to Joe? Did you gain any insight into the addiction (from him or by way of other research?)
I have done lots of it and would be happy to share what I have learned. You are learning what I have, that in these cases, it is not YOU who needs to change. Depressing as it is, unless your husband is willing to deal with his fast progressing addiction, you cannot make him stop. There is lots that you can do however.
Hope to hear from you.
Lisa
L_I_S_A_M@yahoo.com

Hi LisaM
You are right, things are not getting better despite how good and sweet I am and accommodating. And no, I have not heard from Joe yet. I was suppose to work today but called in sick this morning. Since getting home last night and having to put up a wonderful front going to my daughters game, with my H and parents, My stress level was at a serious high. And H said last night, he wants and needs me. I didn't LB, except I did ask him for the truth and he lied three times before he finally got half-honest. But he gets up this morning, and leaves for work without telling bye or anything. I am a nervous wreck and would love to exchange e-mails with you to find out what you have learned and how I can cope with this so I don't go completely insane. I have to say,
I am wondering if this marriage is going to make it or not. I do know I can't keep living like this. I will e-ya very soon here.
