I am so angry and I don't know why? My H
of 25 yrs told me on Oct 17,1998 that he
was in love with another woman. I am getting
ready within the next 3 weeks to go through
the Big D. I have been so sarcastic to
everyone except for my Mom and my daughter.
This is so unlike me. I told my Mom last night
that I feel like I am dying from the inside/out,
and this is my way of fighting to hold on. I
hate all of this anger I am feeling I have no clue
why it is there. I have already been through
the angry part. Why am I feeling this way
again??? I still Love my H so very much. But
the feeling is NOT mutual. The only person he
loves his himself.
a1, Its called the grieving process. The stages are anger, denial bargaining, depression and acceptance. You can go back and forth between all of the stages several times before you finally get to acceptance. Your love just doesn't die for another person when they decide they are done. My heart aches for your grief. Find a way to allow yourself to take the time again to work through the anger. God promises to give us peace if we just ask Him. I'm asking that for you right now.
------------------
eyes wide open
Isn't it weird how here we are all so immersed in this strange world where the most hurtful things are commonplace? People in the "outside" world, who haven't been touched by an affair would probably look at your sentence:
______________________________________
My H of 25 yrs told me on Oct 17,1998 that he was in love with another woman. I am getting ready within the next 3 weeks to go through
the Big D.
______________________________________
and say "Why on earth wouldn't she be angry?!?"
Take care of yourself and go easy on yourself. The big D is a tangible sign that the life you planned for and thought you had is changing. You are a strong, intelligent woman and you won't be angry forever, but right now you have every reason to feel whatever you are feeling. You are lucky to be able to have your Mom's support and you can come here to vent any time. You will get through this!!!
