Well H was here a while ago. Came walking right in. Got the bills and checkbook so he could pay them, went to "his" room and starting packing some stuff, I guess he's staying with her now??
I did very well, didn't say anything about us, he talked about work and that was about it. While he was in his room, I went and told my d's i'm going to the gym, see ya later. I also said T, see you later. And I left.
He just called from the ow place, told my d to tell me to leave some checks out. What really XXXXes me off is we have caller id, my d's don't know that he's seeing someone else and up pop's this number. My oldest d was XXXXed to cuz he came in and didn't say hi to her or anything. She was heart broken by him leaving in the first place. This is the second time for her. She called him dad, used his last name etc etc.
My life is in such a mess! I don't think I LB'd THIS time. I didn't think it was going to be this tuff!! I noticed that he had his wedding ring off, today was the first day that I noticed that. I know it was on this weekend when he was here.
I think he kinda came in prepared for me to start yaking right away AND I DIDN'T!!!!! But he seems so cold!! I told my d that there is alot of stuff that hes feeling and maybe thats way he didn't say anything. She didn't want to hear that, but I also told her that he was RUDE!!
I'm not sure that I am making a BIG mistake here. He was married for 20 years before, and while he was separated from his wife, thats when we started seeing one another. (I will give myself credit, he said it was done etc etc. (what i've learned about that) let me tell you I WOULD NEVER EVER AGAIN GET INVOLVED WITH A MAN THAT IS MARRIED, UNTIL THE MARRIAGE IS COMPLETELY OVER, I WOULD WANT NO PART --I'VE LEARNED BY THAT MISTAKE!!) Anyways, he went back and forth between us a couple of times and the rest is history. I do not want that kind of life for myself or children, will he do that again??
This weekend while he was here, we put ceiling fans up etc, had a good time and then I did the LB thing by starting talking about everything ( I didn't know at the time), a big issue came up about the kids, that I have no control over them, the way they talk to me etc. We had a family meeting and I realize that this is MY fault and not the girls, so I've started to do something there (a plus with this mess).
He said that he was finding fault with her "a good thing for you", he needed time to decided what he wanted to do. He needed to see if this was infatuation or really it (mind you its supposedly about a month since they've SLEPT together, no idea how long the "friendship" was building. Yet he says he loves her, can't let her go etc etc. Boy they sure do let go of US fast enough without a thought.
I don't know if hes moved in with her or what the hell is going on. Most of his clothes are here but he did take a bag with him???? PLEASE ANY ADVICE, WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
Do i keep doing what i'm doing? Tell him to get the hell out once and for all, be patient, be kind, tell him what I really think of him at this point of time!!!!!
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, usually NSR posts this really excellent welcome to newcomers. Anyhow, I think if you had posted under just found out you would see it. Anyhow, the suggestion is to read, read, read. Steve Harley has some excellent books but I wouldn't stop there! There are so many good books out there, my favorite besides Mr. Harley's is "After the Affair". The other thing is I would look into counselling, not only for your marriage but yourself and your children as well.
The other thing I would recommend is following Mr. Harley's plan A. Please look into this things.
The other thing I would strongly suggest is Breathing! Believe it or not, when I first found out I was so emotionally upset that I couldn't breath....... Take it easy and don't go haywire.. God Bless!
------------------
Chick's
Bren
You won't see things until your ready to not be blind!
