How do you cut the string to this lousy yoyo? I really want to move on I want to stopt hurting. I want to have a life. I want to make the pain go away.
How do I stop loving him. How do I make myself give up. Why can't I accept the fact that he is living with her , that he is not the man I married and loved all these years, if he was he wouldn't being doing this.
I wish I could hate him it would make it so much easier. Why don't I hate him after all he has put me through. What is wrong with me that I put up with this crap.
All my family tell me he will never come back and to let go. Why can't I do it?
I feel so alone, tonight I feel just like I did when he left in Aug. I am so tired of all this will it ever end?

------------------
di

Thans ES and Bill,
The hugs and prayers help.
Bill It was all that music and dancing that did me in. My ears are still ringing.
I think the move is making things worse have to deal with everything. You know it would be nice if just once someone would take care of me for a change.
------------------
di

THe morning brings a hangover not the kind from booze but the kind from crying all evening. Of course meorning also bring a little clear head. I don't what I expected from yersterday. H to come and tell me everything was going to be alright? Guess then I would be in fantasyland!!!! It was a very uncomfortable situation that was made worse by the fact it was the first time he and I had been any the same room for any length of time. I hope he was as uncomfortable as I was and he looked. I hope the fact that he held his grandson for a long period of time made him realize a little bit of what he has missed and can't get back and will never have again as long as he is with her. There will never be the time or fun we had when the oldest came toa visit us. He won't have that. BUt I will He is missing out on a lot I hope that maybe this just opened his eyes a little and help the trip back to the real world a little bit.
Got to go to work. Just thought I 'd let you know how I was doing this morning.
------------------
di

I wish I knew the answers to your questions. It seems like it would be easier to get through all this if I hated my H. Everyone tells me to get over it, he is gone. Well, easier said than done. I think the man I married is still inside this boy who is living with the OW and abandoned his wife.
Take care of yourself!

The tried and true (or maybe false!) way is to fall in love with somebody ELSE. That's the only thing that's ever worked for me.
Take my W, please. She's now in love (and a pretty bad case of it at that) with the OM, I'm still in love with her and tried everything I know to talk myself out of this feeling. Nope. No can do. So now I am looking around myself, not very successfully though I did have a few nice moments this morning with an attractive younger woman in her tennis outfit! Regards and blessings,
--Wex

Hi Diana,
I have to agree with Wex. I've heard it said that the best way to get over someone is to find someone else. But, now's not exactly the best time for you to be looking. You're way to vulnerable right now.
I think the only way you are going to be able to disconnect is with NO contact. Remember how well you were doing until he started contacting you again? Stand your ground on the no contact rule. Get someone to be the intermediary for any necessary things such as the house you have up for sale.
