Just found out that my wife's MM is moving into the divorce process. About a week ago it was noted in the paper that his wife had filed the papers. My thought, kept to myself, has been that when the divorce is complete, he will tire very quickly of waiting on my wife to decide what she is doing.
In the paper it was announced that "divorce asked" was filed about a week ago. My question is what is the typical timeline for this to be completed once the papers are filed?
Thanks for the insight into this.

waitinB,
It just depends on the state, and how long it takes for the two parties to sgree on everything...I am in Wash state, where it takes a minimum of three months from the date of formal filing Mine was relatively easy, since we agreed on most issues so it was over at the three month mark...my friends' divorce has been going on for two years now! There are many good sites available on the net that may answer your question about your particular state. Good luck to you...please continue to post and go over this site..it will help you a lot!
------------------
Susan
