Hi all,
I was posting on the recovery forum but it seems not too many people are going there lately- should I be concerned? Is it because more people are not in recovery- or simply that more people just come here to the General Questions board? Oh well- nevertheless, here I am.
H is at his first therapy appt. since I "hit bottom" or should I say- "we hit bottom". That was almost 2 weeks ago and I am concerned that in our sessions today we will have to update our counselors and go into all the junk again. After H's appt. we have our joint marital session.....
2 weeks ago H learned that I had broken our no contact agreement and I contacted the OP. This resulted in him leaving me and then coming home to basically tell me he had had it and that we were pretty much through. I then overdosed on some prescription pills..... taken away in ambulance....blah-blah- you get the picture. Not a good scene.
I keep thinking how God has continually watched over us because when the ambulance came and the 6 or so paramedics.....my children STAYED ASLEEP upstairs and knew nothing that had happened.
What a gift that was.....
So, H and I are reconciled again and keeping things one day at a time. I have had no contact with OP since and have no desire to at this time.......
Anyway- I am hoping that with our sessions today we can remain positive and still have a good healing process.

Stay strong, not only for yourself, but for that wonderful family you have.
