Hey everyone,
So what would everyone do when all I want lately is REVENGE!!!! I know God said revenge is mine, but all I have thought of lately is how I want the OW to hurt as much as they made me hurt!!
Her life seems to be going on so well. But I know she wants to have contact with my H supposedly only because of the child, but I know better.
I'm just still really angry but my H seems totally oblivious of all the turmoil I am going through every day. He has gotten where he doesn't want to talk about anything connected with the affair or her, unless something has happened or she has tried to contact him. He feels that she has kept her word about not causing any trouble, but I sure see it differently. I know she goes out of her way to make sure we see her and that child. She just has so much "pride" about her it makes me sick. She's the one who was suppose to be such a good christian lady but who pursued and then had sex with a married man, just because it had been done to her 11-12 years ago and she wanted to have another baby according to a mutual friend of ours.
Oh I just want to hurt her so badly. Its almost getting where I can control my feelings anymore. Any suggestions?
I know this too shall pass, but man I really want both of them to pay for their infidelity!!!!!

Have you tried to read anything about affairs- forgiveness- anger- anything like that ?
If i could i would look up on old post of mine entitled rage- and the advice i got.
hope you are in a better place soon.

Revenge is a cancer which will eat you alive. You think it will help but it won't. When God says "Vengence is His". Its because he wants to protect us from what the act of vengence can do to us.. Hold on. You have the greatest impact that you can make by keeping your marriage together. We all know the feelings you are going through but just hang on they will pass.
What could your H say that would make any difference. He knows how hurt you are. Just keep on working on your relationship with him and to h#@ with the OW.
There is another verse which you need to concentrate on. "I can do all things through Christ Who gives me strength." Or maybe "Pride goes before a fall". The OP will eventully reap what they have sown. The OP if indeed they are Christian will need to face what they have done and turn from their actions. That is the only thing which would make me feel better about the OP and that is if and when they acknowledge what they did in light of God's command.
Thou shalt not steal
Thou shalt not covet
Thou shalt not commit Adultery
Those are the things which change a person, not exacting revenge on them. Hold on, it will get better.
------------------
eyes wide open
