I remember reading that it is possible to block emails from a particular sender. <P>I keep getting ads for a porno site emailed to me.<P>The 'sender' doesn't exist, and the 'date sent' is in 1980...<P>I've tried 'unsubscribe' and other 'don't send me mail' messages, but they are returned because the sender 'does not exist'.<P>I have Internet Explorer/Outlook.<BR>Can anybody help me keep this garbage out of my house? My kids use this computer too, and I really want to stop this stuff.<P>Thanks<P>lizzie\pearl

Different email accounts have different methods of blocking.<P>I use hotmail. they have a little box right above the list of messages where I can click on delete or block sender<P>you might click on the help button and see if it tells how to use the block option in your account<P>I get those "ads" too. I wonder where they get my email?<P>good luck<P>Keo

There's a term for this kind of random junk mail, but I can't remember it right now. I know when I was with AOL they had an address where you could forward a copy of the email. The company then found a way to block it out.

In Outlook, click on "Tools", then "Message Rules", and then "Blocked Senders List".<P>This will move any email from blocked senders straight to the trash file.

lizzie/pearl,<P>I've been told by a lot of folks to <B>never</B> respond to spam (even to attempt to unsubscribe). By responding, you are confirming to them that they have reached a <B>live</B> e-mail address and they will continue to spam.<P>I'm not sure if this is true or not, but advertisers are merciless.<P><P>------------------<BR>RobinAnn<P>*********<P>Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape!
