Well, I decided it was time for MY attitude adjustment. Was reading "Relationship Rescue" Put Motion into Your Emotion, really hit home for me. This was just before H came over to get mail.
Well this book and His Needs Her Needs sure do help. I've got to remember these things.

"You must take the initiative and commit to always giving your partner the most positive stimulus possible."
"This Personal Relationship Value is about putting forth the best parts of who you are in hopes that it will raise the level upon which this entire relationship is played out"
Well, while H was here, I went outside and he says "You smell good", and "You look good too". He was walking to his car and says "see you later baby", then something, then I heard "Honey". I turned around looked at him and smiled, turned around and walked into the house. My d said he called while I was gone.
THEN, I go to the mall, and this guy I'd say hes 20ish, comes up to me and says "That haircut looks so good on you"!! Tell me that that didn't lift my spirits 110%!!!!
I've lost another 4 1/2 lbs since last week, and I am FEELING GREAT!!!!!
"Turn the concept of love into a pro-active behavior". Well I have decided I am gonna put my best foot forward on this, quit dwelling, and start thinking about ME. It feels good!!
Heres a couple of more quotes I thought were good!!
You can no longer settle for living a second-class life with your partner.
Ambivalence is no longer in your vocabulary.
Passivity is no longer part of your behavioral repertoire.
Hatefullness is no longer on your list of emotional choices.
I think this applies with your H or WITHOUT!!
So IF I come back here, down and out please remind me of these OK. I hope they can help someone else!!!
T

[This message has been edited by Troublec (edited March 14, 2000).]
