If i remember my son's birthday parties they were too busy and noisy for any conversation or even time to realize you are with you STBX.
I get along better with my inlaws now then I did when h and i were together. how do they feel about all of this. Mine are my biggest supporters.
No you don't need a drink to get through this you are strong you can do it. I have faith in you now have faith in youself.
------------------
di

Di,
You're right I don't need to drink to get thru it.
They haven't said too much, they try to steer clear of the situation in the few conversations I have had with them.
My SIL, their other daughter, told me they are devastated. They have considered me not as a SIL but as a son. They are about as good as you can get for inlaws I guess(never had any others!) we were more friends than inlaws.
I just noticed a potential problem. I thought my stbx told me she was working Sat. nite from 7p to 7a, now I see that that is on Sun. I wonder if she wants to visit her parents and where ? Or will she have a date and leave me with her parents and the kids ? I believe it is om's weekend off too.
Hum, interesting!!!!!!
