Was reading the paper today and found out someone I know, wife's been murdered oustside of our sleepy town of 15000. She was shot at home in their garage.
The husband had coached my son's indoor soccer team the last 2 years and his daughter was my son's classmate and in the same room last year. My daugher knows there son.
Ther are no clues or motive, no money or anything was taken.
I think this is the first time I've known someone that has been murdered. This doesn't sit well on top of my depression.

RWD,
Murder is devastating for everyone even remotely connected with the victim. My nephew was murdered about six months before my H's affair started, and I do not think it was a coincidence. All of our lives were thrown in turmoil, though of course my sister suffered far more than anyone else.

More details are coming out about this story. It seems w had a boyfriend and that she was planning to leave the family after the holidays according to the news reports. H and her father say it isn't true.
At this point it doesn't look good for the H.

How awful.
Sorry you have to think about this as well.
I'll make sure you, the families and where you live - wherever that is - will be in my prayers.
Just before the holidays - can only sit here and shake my head at the waste of it all.
Take care of you
Jo
