It is one year this morning that I confronted H. A lot of things have happened in this year. Not all bad either. In that year We had a new grandson and my son receive a kidney transplant and is doing great. I was able to enjoy my new grandson and spend lots of time with his older brother. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] Of course you all know the bad things that have happened this year.
I would be feeling a lot worse if I didn't feel that we have made some small steps. I do know he is starting to realize things. So there is hope.
I know I have change a lot in this year. A lot of growth I just hope I have a chance to show him that. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
I am looking for a lot of changes good one in the next year. I plan on being in a total different place this time next year.
Hopefully with my H!!!!!!!! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
One thing for sure, I am not in tears and I don't feel like I did a year ago. So I have come a long way and still have a long way to go but I feel that I am more then half way there. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
I just want to say I don't think I could have made it through these past few months without all of you here. My only regret was I didn't find you a year ago.
HUGS and Prayers for us all.

------------------
di

[This message has been edited by SDS (edited March 17, 2000).]

Hey Di,
Wow, our D days are only a few days apart. My "Anniversary" was March 13 at 0230. I will never forget that date and time.
We have all learned so much here. I am a much better person than I was last year. I did't know what was exected of a H. I thought love did it all. Now, I know and can and will be a great H. Maybe not to Val, but, to someone special.
I also read with great interest your other post. I have most recently also felt an overwelming calm. I have given my situation to the greater power. When I experience a trigger it no longer drops my stomach to the floor. No more anxiety attacks. The depression is gone. I'm off meds. I don't dwell on the subject of reconsiliation or what I/we did wrong. When I think of them together I know things will work out for me. What ever "the plan" is for me I know it will be for the best.
When I picked up the tax info from Val last week I felt absolutely nothing for her. I guess that was a good thing. We were about 18 inches away from each other and nada. I'm sure I would have LB'ed or said something dumb. I got what I came for and "see ya, bye" None of the usual, I love you, hug, kiss. She came downstairs and outside to the parking lot to chat. Don't know if it means anything. I'm waiting for the interpretation from The Man.
I am at a great place right now. Sure, I would love to have Val back in my life, but, if that is not in the plan, so be it.
I have grown so much because of this situation I am really glad it happened. If not, I would still be stuck in the old me. I didn't him. Now, I admire the guy I turned out to be.
Just a thought.
Wishing all the Best.
Tim
