Thanksgiving really was a downer but we did manage to get out and do something--took the kids to the mall, and we did get the tree up finally. I miss him more and more each day; the sense of permanence is really sinking in now. . . . the house is WAY too big these days and I can't seem to keep up with it. But we are managing. Today is Daughter #2's birthday (14), and she has some friends over--if that doesn't keep me distracted (6 teenagers all night!!), nothing will. Thanks, everyone, for thinking of us. Just wanted to give you a quick update.<P>
