I know they say life only hands you what you can handle, and that there is a lesson in everything. Well life has really been handing me my share of things. I don't know how much longer I can take it. Beginning of June I find out I'm clinicly depressed and start taking not one, not two, but three anti-depressants and start to see a psh. dr. Mid June I find out about my husbands affair. I tried to live with getting myself well and knowing his affair is still on going. Then last week I lost my grandmother (who I love dearly). When I return from Wis. my husband moves out. What else can happen?
The strange thing is that his moving out was as much my idea as it was his. I just could not handle having his affair in my face on a daily basis, and he really needed some space to figure things out. I helped him pack, load his things into his truck. We have been having some really nice talks (we aren't being ugly to each other or having fights). He left Friday, but later that night he called me just to make sure I was ok. That was the first time in months he has cared how I was feeling. He came over Saturday morning and I thought he was just going to pick up our son. But he invited me to go along with them. It was really nice, we were laughing and kidding with each other just like old times. He gave me a kiss and hug before he left. And then he was over at the house again Sunday to cut the grass. Don't get me wrong, I miss him terribly and I still want my marriage to work out. But right now I have to be selfish. I have to worry about getting myself well and getting over the loss of my grandmother.
Thanks for lending me your ear. I really just needed to get this off my chest.
------------------
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experiences of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired and success achieved. Face your deficiencies and acknowledge them, but do not let them master you. The marvelous richness of human experience would lose something of rewarding joy if there were no limitations to overcome.
Viki
