His car was totaled, but other than a bump on his head and some cuts and bruses he seemed okay. So I brought him home from the accident with instructions from the EMT to take him to the hospital if he became nauseated.
Fortunately our neighbor talked him into going to the doctor--for insurance purposes (the other guy ran a red light).
While we were waituing in the doctor's office to get his eye stitched up he started to get nauseated so I went to get a nurse. By the time I got back to the room, he was in convulsions. I ran back down the hall to get a doctor and when the doctor got to him, he had no pulse or heartbeat and he had turned blue.
The doctor brought him back with one solid blow to the chest and he was then ambulanced to the emergency facility. The emergency doctor told me that it was probably due to the head injury but they have kept him on a monitor and have been running tests just to be sure since last night.
I'm leaving in a few minutes to go back to the hospital but right now I don't even know what I'm doing ....I feel like I'm in slow motion and I'm afraid to bring him home. I don't want to see that happen again. So far the tests are coming out okay...but please pray for us anyway. okay?
I didn't come all this way and fight so hard just to see him die in the doctor's office!!!
CJ
------------------
Psalm 42
