I have a couple of stepdaughters, but they were never "long lost" - and I have an X wife who bought a house 4 doors across the street, and an OW who lives behind Xwife - but don't have the problem you describe! Whew!!! and I thought I had challenges!
Try plan A. Hang in there, focus on the solution and the outcome, and not the problem.
Have things gotten any better? Is your husband responding to your willingness to understand his feelings?
God Bless you, and keep on keeping on.
TNT
