Did anyone watch 20/20 tonight? It was great listening to the Giffords tell their story. I can only hope my h was watching with his OW present. If that didn't strike a chord in him, then he is really worse off then I thought.

missy,
It was something else. I'm glad that they used the opportunity to share about it, though it was painful to them both...I think it will have helped more people than they know..
I was deeply moved by it...I imagine it sunk into a lot of hearts tonight.
take care
dawnn

I agree.
Never much liked Kathy Lee, but I gained some respect for her last night.
I think she is quite lucky that Frank came to her "a broken man". And I liked his statement that he would "spend the rest of his life trying to prove he is the man she thought he was". Wow. How much easier this would all be with the betrayer having THAT attitude. <sigh>
Doing that interview took GUTS. I applaud them both.
------------------
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
Galatians 5:22-23

I haven't seen that interview, but I'd sure like to see it. I'm sure they keep archives for people who are interested.
Doing that does take guts! One of the things that make affairs still seem so attractive to alot of people is that they've only seen the "up" side from the media. The down sides are kept quiet.
Even though we aren't famous, we are all doing our parts by sharing our stories here, and with close friends/family. Now that infidelity is coming out of the closet, hopefully people will begin to make other choices.

I watched this last night. I never really liked Kathie Lee but now have respect for her. It sounds like Frank is truly remorseful and their marriage is recovering.
One thought that came to my mind was that it is now 3 years later, since Frank's infidelity and how hard it still must be. When watching and listening to Kathie Lee, I can hear the pain and resentment still there.
My H & I are a little over a year past D-day and his infidelity still hurts like heck. I wonder how many years will pass until I begin to feel better?
