Thanks for the prayers everyone... but it's not over yet.
Well, I'm back at work today.... just hanging out because all my files are still ready to evacuate (in the trunk of Dad's car). The winds died down more over night, and they have contained part of the fire (about 10% from 5:00 am reports). Unfortunately, the part that has been contained is at the end furthest from town.
We have been advised to have everything ready for a fast exit. The winds are just now starting to pick up again, and are starting to blow the smoke and ash back toward town. UGGGGGGGG! :P
All this mess because they decided to do a controled burn during the windy and driest time of year here.
I did talk to Mom this morning.... and even to my Grandma. They found ulcers, not stomach cancer! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] Not that ulcers are good, but definately the lesser of the two evils. Still no word on the other tests yet, and they were getting ready to start more tests this morning. Grandpa is still scheduled for surgery tomorrow to open the blockage in his neck.
Needless to say, I'm still praying on all fronts.... it's far from over yet.
Thoughts & Prayers,
Butterfly
------------------
There are deep sorrows and killing cares in life, but the encouragement and love of friends were given us to make all difficulties bearable.
-- John Oliver Holmes
The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference.
-- Elie Wiesel
