Are you all getting tired of my rants yet?
Larri originally says she will pick up kids on Saturday night. Calls me at 7:30 and says she was scuba diving all day and will get home late, so can she pick them up in the morning? Sure, says I.
Calls me this morning (she is supposed to have the kids 8-6) at 8 and says she will be there soon. Shows up at 9. I ask when she will bring them back. She says about 2.
This is the woman who constantly says that she never has enough time with the children. Well, maybe try spending the all the time you have been awarded!!! She has only seen the kids about 50% of the time she has been awarded this month. And she was the one that kept saying, "Let's let the judge decide." Well, he decided, now it is up to you.
Thanks for listening.

I don't understand either, GP. I have turned my schedule upside down so I can work all the hours I have to work and still be with H and my Sugar Pop baby boy.
Is there a way you can make things not quite so easy for Larri but still be within the court order? Like say, "Please pick up the kids at 8 because I have plans to go to the {zoo/beach/park/museum/etc.}" and if she doesn't pick them up at the appointed time, take them with you to wherever and let her know where they are and make arrangements for her to be able to pick them up there? It just sounds as though she is having too easy a time living in her Fantasy Land of No Responsibilities.
Good luck--I hope things look up...--HBC

I have conflicting feelings about this. I have told her before that the kids need to spend more time with her. On the other hand (there's that Hindi goddess again) I view her not showing up as protection for my children. A judge will not award her more custody if she has not used what she has been awarded. And the way she is now, I don't want her to have any more time than she has been awarded.
Yesterday, I was so exhausted after doing the laundry, dishes, shopping for Bday present, taking the kids to bday party, feeding them dinner, etc. I just wanted a little break. Then I had to spend a couple of hours researching for a paper that is already a couple of months past due.
Ain't being a CP fun?
Calgon, take me away!
