Thanks for everybody who helped me in the topic "invited me to lunch and left". Yes, he really did, it was on May 1st. He moved out to a hotel. There is no OW. He sad he doesn´t love me anymore. I used Plan A. Yesterday he invited me for dinner and told me that he almost can´t sleep at night and he had to see me to tell me it. I thought he was going yo come wth something new but he said he had beem thinking a lot and he does not love me anymore, everything inside him is dead. Tha amazing thing is that it happened to him before, for 3 times (3 previous marriages). He said that all the times something inside him told him that it was over and that´s why he was moving out. He´s almost 47 and i believe that this disposable relashionships make sense when you´re 18, 20, 30 years old. He last 3 previuos wifes for the same reason, love was gone. What should I do now ??? Nurtue some hope on it ? I decided to handle my life, my work and everything. I will not make solve his teenager crises, it´s his business and I´m also tired of Plan A. There are limits and self respect i do want to be too pushy.

Claudia,
Clearly, it ain't you, it's him. This is now his 4th marriage that he has walked away from. Sadly it's not so amazing that it happened before; what's amazing is that he doesn't see the pattern for what it is. Leaving his wife doesn't solve the problem because he just carries it with him into the next relaionship. He has some serious issues to deal with and he doesn't seem to be interested in trying.
Some people understand that a loving relationship needs to be worked at and cared for. Others expect the love to magically live on its own, and when the love dies (which it inevitably does), zoom! they walk away. Only to repeat the same mistake again.
You did what you could, so remember to feel good about yourself.
Kenneth

It´s a pity and I´m very sad because I really believe in long term relashionship. I´m trying to keep myself together, I´m very strong and grabing my life with both hands. I just hope to find someone who deeply understands me and wants commitment with love and life.
Thanks a lot,
Lov

quote:
Originally posted by Kenneth:
Claudia,
Clearly, it ain't you, it's him.
