yuki, i just want you to know im here, even though, praise the lord, my H's mother died years ago.
you've lived there ONLY three years (sarcasm)? jeez, it's impossible to have a decent marriage under these circumstances. it's like your MIL is the OW! my H won't give up his girlfriend under any circumstances, he needs her as a "friend". ugh.
i hope you do have plans, either you need to untie those apron strings from your H or...well, you just make sure you and your son are taken care of, ok?

To answer your question, I guess it would be a qualified yes. But I consider my mother one of my best friends and tell her just about everything. Plus, I am a pretty open person.
Your post scares me. You are under a great deal of stress. You feel as if everyone is against you. Excuse me for saying so, but you sound paranoid to me. Be careful. Don't do anything that would put yourslef or your child in danger. That includes anything that could be used against you in any kind of custody hearing.

Hi...
I'm not sure what's going on with you but you sound terrified and I'm sorry you are going through this. I myself no longer have anything to do with my H's parents because he chose to tell them everything about our situation (what he knew at the time anyway) and they e-mailed back and forth basically plotting against me and condemning me. It was scary to read what he wrote to his parents about his thoughts and feelings and realize they were polar opposites of what he was telling me he felt. I don't know what would have happened had I had to live in the same house with them (we did consider it for a time), but that's neither here nor there. I'm sure it will blow over eventually.
I hope that you'll be OK - I can feel the fear in your posts... I hope it isn't as bad as it seems to you...
------------------
"I believe... this is heaven to no one else but me - and I'll defend it long as I can be left here to linger in silence if I choose to would you try to understand?" - Sarah McLachlan

If this is as bad as you say, get out of there now! Go to a battered women's shelter where you can get some help. Do you have any vacation or sick time for work? Take it now!
We are all worried about you. Be careful...
