I am the betrayed. I still love H, but it is so hard. What main issue caused the affair. I want children and he doesn't. Granted I did not handle it very well. Now, I have a scriptural out. But what I really want when I sit and think about it is I want to fix our marriage and eventually have children with him. He is so good with children, I cannot believe that he doesn't want to be a father. But, if I continue working on the marriage and we fix things, I will have to accept that there is a 99% chance that we will not have children. Do I really want to live the rest of my life like that. I am only 27. Has anyone been in this situation? Any advice?
Dear Lapeine,
I have not shared this experience but am experiencing issues of love lost for me and infedility. I won't go into it, my profile and postings in prayer requests say enough. If you haven't read Dr. Harley's book "Surviving an Affair" I suggest it to you and to your H if he's willing. It was the first step toward insight that I never thought possible. I know now that anything is possible through faith, prayer, and education/insight.
Good Luck,
Changed Man
