Well, I don't know if it was all your well wishes and prayers or what, but what a difference a day makes! I am just happy as a clam. And get this- nothing changed but my perspective. Isn't that cool? We all have the power to change our whole lives by simply changing our perspective. Sounds so simple, doesn't it?
I was still fuming over Broadzilla (I think she will like that name). I blasted her in a letter, then set it aside. I put some music on and just started concentrating on some other stuff, and the next thing I knew, it wasn't such a big deal any more.
I just thought about how petty it all is. Here is this woman who is doing all this conniving hurtful stuff for what? She's married. She isn't going to get the guy. The guy doesn't even want her really. He's just using her until the next one comes along. And what am I upset about again? It just all seems like such a waste of energy.
She can't take away the love I feel for my H. And you know what? Despite everything, I still love him. I can forgive him for this and her too. We are all human, and are all on the same path. We'll get there together some day. These are just the stumbling blocks along the way.
I understand that my H isn't doing this TO me. This is just who he is, but I don't want to be a part of that anymore. If that is how he wants to live his life, fine. I think it's very sad and that he's depriving himself of any real meaning, but it IS his life.
As for her, well, it's just sad that she has such an empty hole inside of her that she tries to fill it in this way. (double entendre intended- ha) tsk We all have the same opportunity to use this as a learning experience or perpetuate the cycle of hurt. I choose to get beyond this stronger, wiser, and with love.
Thanks to all of your for your prayers and support. I truly believe it made a difference.
P.S. I still won't feed the fire by posting anything the whore can use for ammo, but I did want to share that with you since you were so supportive!

When I was going through my withdrawl, one day I just looked in the mirror and told myself that I could choose to be miserable and make everyone else miserable, or I could change my attitude (or perspective) and get on w/my life. I chose to make the decisions I did, so I had to deal with them. Sometimes, everything seems so complicated, when really it can be quite simplified!
I'm glad to see you're better today. I've really been feeling for you reading your pain. You're a real trooper! Hang in there!!!!

Popeye,
Does this mean you will stay here ? I hope so, at least until you are ready to move on because you are ready, not for any ather reason.
I admit, you are a better woman that I am. You still love him after this.
I don't know if I could be that loving a woman. I hope he realizes what he is losing.
I'm glad you like the name, and I hope she hates it. I am pretty good with names for ow, I call h's ow#1 Wildebeast. I didn't give her that name , a man who was a neighbor when h and I were seperated saw her and started calling her that, I just liked it so that became her name. She knows it too. She didn't say anything about me calling her that. What could she say ?
------------------
Just call me - Deb
------------------------
The only day I can do anything about is today, yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet mine.
Hepatitis C, educate yourself ! http://hepatitis-central.com/

popeye,
Woo Hoo!!!! I'm so happy to hear you in such better spirits. I know what you're talking about though... it's so funny that just changing the way you think about something can change your whole attitude, perspective and literally life!! But boy, sometimes it isn't so simple. I'm so glad to hear that you've found a way of thinking about all of this that makes you feel better. Your post actually makes even me feel better. This has really brightened my day. Thanks for sharing with us...
[This message has been edited by tryingtomoveforward (edited June 12, 2000).]

Popeye:
I've been gone all day (got a perm and man! do I look cute)so haven't checked the forum until now--11:30 at night. What a relief to see your post and that you took your trash to the dump and unloaded it. I am so glad you feel so much better and have that incredible sense of self back in alpha gear.
I do hope this means you'll stay if you can and disperse some of your valuable wisdom occasionally.
Catnip =^^=
<>

Popeye,
You go girl...wished I had your attitude....you could teach me a thing or two.
We have one thing in common...I still love my stbx too...even after all of this, but it doesn't mean I have to listen to his jibberish (sp??) He will fall one day...and instead of laughing at him....I would love to pick him up and help him...because man does he need help.
I'm glad your still here.
By the way, my oldest calls her dads OW quarter......because she is not allowed to say whore. She thinks it is so funny....of course I don't laugh on the outside....but boy are my insides snickering.
