Hi gals,
I believe I've gathered from your threads that at one point you told your h, but he didn't support you (mostly men don't know how). There is a new guy, Homer, just facing this. Will you go help him? Maybe you could save him and his wife some of the torture you've had.
He has a thread: just found out a week ago.

Hi Schizzo...
thanks for telling us about Homer...sounds as though he needs some support. I'm on my way to search him out.
Thanks, again, Schizzo for all of your insight...but most of all, thanks for not judging us. Your perspective has helped me a ton. One day at a time!
How are you doing today????

Wings,
Thanks for asking. It doesn't help to get stuck in a rut on either side of this, why would I judge anyone?
H came home yesterday and we had a great talk. I think now that we have broken the communications barrier in getting through the negative stuff, we can start really enjoying communicating. He actually said he wanted to understand how I think! Never thought he would ask that.
How are you doing?

Hi Schizzo...
I finally found Homer's post. So glad you brought my attention to that. He's exactly where my husband was at several months ago. Wondering how to connect to his W.
So glad to know that you and your H are making great strides to communicate. That's the essence of all of this.
That, and like you said, taking time to hang out with each other doing fun things. It does take work, and you both sound like you're committed to that goal of re-connecting.
My H and I are headed there, but haven't arrived at the door yet. He still wants to move on and put this behind us. I'm trying to express the grief to him, and he's still trying to understand.
Oh, how my heart grieves for the destructiveness in all of this.

[This message has been edited by wings (edited June 24, 2000).]
