Well my h blew off the kids again this Sunday and that was another all star game. He would not tell me what he had to do just that I needed to make arrangements for the boys since it was his day to have them.
Then he tells me he will not be around Tuesday and Wednesday and i will once again need to make arrangements to get the kids to and from basketball camp. This is the camp my h runs with another guy. He would never ever take a day off from the camp in the past years.
Sure enough come to find out from OW h that he is taking his kids to Florida this week so OW will be all alone. So, I am just assuming that My h and OW will probably be going away on a mini vacation those 2 days.
Now, believe me the fact that he is going away with her does not bother me, I mean he lives with her. The part that bothers me is the fact that he puts her in front of the kids all the time.
He will be missing another all star game again tomorrow night. These games are so important. The whole town comes out for them. My h has never missed a game in the past years. NEVER!! Baseball with the kids was his life. He was crazy about it. i just feel bad for the kids. What are they to think when Dad doesn't show up anymore and would rather be with OW.
When will this selfishness end???EVER???

Oh Missy,
Your poor boys. Let the town be their support. Let everyone else that loves them be there for them. There can never be too many people that love our children. Tell them over and over again how important they are and how it's not their fault. Have them write their dad a letter after the game if they want to so they can tell him all about it.
Your husband is missing out on the only thing in life that really counts. But guess what, you're not and they will always remember that. Thank God they have you for a mother. Be at that game with a huge smile on your face and have a blast. Did both boys make the all-star team? I know what an accomplishment that is where my kids play ball.
What can you say to them...that you love them dearly and daddy is confused right now. You know, these posts don't get to me too much unless they involve children...then they break my heart.
I'll be praying for a big win for your boys on all-star night.
allison

Oh Boy Missy,
Vent away, you have a perfect right. Just don't do it with H.
Man, I was getting mad just reading your post. Your H is acting like a schmuck! A schmuck in the FOG. I'm so sorry Missy. I'll say prayers for him to realize what he's doing and what he's going to lose.
You've just gotta do the best you can for the boys' sake. For right now, you're all they've got. I know you're doing a really good job with them and I know it's hard. What I've TRIED to do is stay in the moment, what I mean by that is try very hard to ignore what's going on regarding your H and OW and anything to do with the A, and concentrate on what you're doing right that momment. It's the only way to stay sane.
I'm really sorry, hon. You've been holding up really good, just keep coming here and telling us about it. I really do understand. Stay strong and many prayers.
Talk to you soon.
Jo
[This message has been edited by Resilient (edited July 10, 2000).]
