We live in the same house. Have separate bedrooms. Have NO sexual contact. Most of the time no communication. BUT, we have 2 kids and staying together means I only work part-time and can be with them. Most of the time we forget he's around (because he seldom is or is locked away in his room). Not a marriage relationship, but it is wrong to stay just for the convenience of not having to support myself and the kids?

Only you know the answer to that one. Not everyone would be able to handle living in such an unloving way for the sake of money. Do your kids see that their is no communication or no affections between you and your husband? That could affect them and their attitude toward relationships and marriage when they grow older.

It's good that you can have your family together and be there for your children. I'd want to stay for that reason too, but why don't you see if you can make the most out of that situation? Can you Plan A within that framework and try to bring some happiness to your relationship? <P>I think you have to be proactive. What happens when your H gets sick of this and starts to look elsewhere? You might be where so many of us are! You have a goldmine opportunity to have your cake and eat it too. Don't let it slip away without even trying.
