Cindy,
I agree with what you said because it has to do with us being human.
I struggle as well but I take credit only for listening to God. I know that I am incapable of doing what it takes on my own to help my W through her pain some of which I caused unknowingly. My W does not know about any of the principles. I am doing all alone without her playing by the rules.
I continue because I know she is God's gift to me. I continue because I love God for giving her to me. In loving her I love myself. He gave her to me to be my life long companion and to allow us to be parents.
It is a struggle because I go through my moments of wanting to be as selfish as she was and still is to a degree. I pray for her daily because it is in her, our boys, and lastly my best interest.
------------------
God Bless,
Rob
regilmor@swbell.net

Cindy:
I've hesitated posting on your thread, because although I consider us a success story, it's not unqualified. And the "romantic" love that needs to be created is still an issue, and one that we both are struggling with...
However, that doesn't mean that I'm not fully supportive of the concepts. And I'll get around to posting over there... promise!
