Hey Guys,
Haven't been posting in a while. Nothing I feel worth while to tell ya other than,
I'm gonna get in a Depression Study Group. It seems that the makers of the world renowned Prozac have come up with something they believe is better. I like drugs especially thru a water bong filled with Brandy. No fighting to clean the screen.
I passed the initial "are you depressed" interview by the social worker and have an hour and a half appointment with the shrink on Wednesday, part two. God knows I'm sad, he [doc] will find out too.
Being a participant makes me eligible for free meds and counceling for 4 months. If I don't feel it has helped I get another month added on. Ok, five months of free therapy and drugs for the price of an 800 number, works for me.
Of course, I will probably have to be kept in a cage with the other monkeys, but, that's alright. I can deal with it. I lived thru the 3 years of Val seeing someone else and he is monkey poop. Better not be in the same cage with me or he is dead meat.
UPDATE: We [Val, not me and the monkey] had a 16 minute phone conversation on July 3 that went on without the mention of M, D or our relationship. I felt it was a good chat. I have not heard from her since. Withdrawl from me and the M? Guilt? Forgot the number here? Getting a tan? Killed in the line of action? Washing her hair? Dead mother?
Any opinions would be appreciated. I fear that when I start in the program and start on the new anti-deps I won't give a rat's behind and will proceed with the D.
Still trying Plan A but getting tired.

------------------
"It's not over till we say it's over! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? H*ll no!" Blutto...Animal House 1984
Wishing us all the Best.
Medic

Dude! Drugs rock! Seriously, though, being in the military you don’t get much of a chance. Haven’t had anything in 20 years! Some coke & ludes when they operated on my nose, sodium pentathol for my wisdom teeth (they took ‘em out. Is that what happened to my “wisdom”?) & some Valium when I got the chop but I was too messed up to care anyway.
I don’t think you’ll not “give a rat’s behind” and divorce that easily. If you do, it’ll be with a clear head though.
Wow, you got to speak with her on the 3rd? I haven’t talked with my spousal unit for at least 2 months now. She hasn’t called in 3 weeks. I keep waiting for wankboy to call me & say, “come & get the body. We were in a car wreck” or something like that.
Hang on Medic. You’ll be okay.
------------------
Prayers & God Bless!
Chris
For relationship info check out Marriage & Relationship Resources

Medic,
That sounds like a very interesting program. I wish there were something like that where I live.
Sorry to hear your getting tired, but you've held on for a long time. WIshing you the best and good luck with this study group, keep us updated.
I don't get over here often , I stay over on the divorced side now.
Prayers,
Dana (a.k.a. lonelymom)

Hey Zippy
I've been thinking about one of those study groups for me.
I'm a little worried though....I'm afraid I might have to show at least some vague sign of being normal before they'd let me participate.
I'm guessing they might want to see at least a little hope for improvement.
BTW are you still being Plan A'd by Ex?
I'd give my eye tooth (Only have one [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com] )
to be Plan A'd by anyone.

Well, it's offical!
The doc agreed with my self diagnosis. I am depressed and made it into the study group. I had to answer a million questions about how I feel and what goes on in my head. Thank GOD I studied last night. He told me I was a very good candidate for the study.
Talk about building up my self esteem. Hey, I'm depressed and know it!
Then, a nurse took my vitals, EKG, blood test and urine analysis. I picked a good week to stop taking barbiturates. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
So next week we get into the muck and mire and I get my meds and counceling. My mother is so proud.
Chris,
Tell me again what we are waiting for and why? This Val imposed Plan B is starting to work. I made a mental list of pros and cons and the only pro I could think of was I love her, well the girl I married. I came up with a ton of cons.
I'm at the point where the M is dead and just have to sign the death certificate to make it legal. I will make it come Hell or high water. Don't know if Val will be in the picture then.
Hey Dana,
It was the wierdest thing, I was sitting here rocking out to the House of Hair and this commercial comes on the radio two weeks ago regarding the study. I jotted down the number and called the next day. I hope this helps.
I was sorry to hear of you D, but you sound so much better. I don't post as much, not much to add and don't want to bring the board down with me.
Wassi,
Hey, I made it in and I'm no where near normal. They bought the "I fell down the cellar steps as a kid" routine. It could work for you too. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
And yes, I am being Plan A'ed big time by the FXW. She stopped by last night because T2 bought her a necklace and she wanted to pick it up, yeah, right, ok. Born at night, not last night. She gave me two big hugs before she left. It is very uncomfy to me. I'm still M and have some small feelings left for Val.
That's whats going on with the Zipman

------------------
"It's not over till we say it's over! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? H*ll no!" Blutto...Animal House 1984
Wishing us all the Best.
Medic
