My W says she's going to visit her parents this weekend (3 hours away). The OM lives 10 minutes from the parents. I don't believe she's going to her folks and probably would not even call them if she visits OM.
Daughter and I are staying home.
My question: Would it be a love buster to tell her we'll call her at parents house on Sunday morning to check in, or better yet, not say anything and just call them to check in with her?

Catamount, Did your wife say anything about you calling her or her calling you or D?
If she said she would call...i would just let her.
I suppose it would be a LB to call and check up. But it depends on where you are with your W. I know when my H was in the very early bizaar stages he did not want me to call him. He went on a trip (without OP) and didnt even leave a number. I think he called once. He was really angry then.
NOw my kids call him. Or he calls here. He is not living here though so it could be different.
Apparently, whatever they think is the LB is the LB. Is it the type of thing she is trying to avoid... ie.. being accountable for herself?? if so, I think that would be a LB.

Catamount,
If she didn't mention anything about calling or keeping in touch, then you will be checking up on her, definitely an LB. As near as I can tell, if you have to ask if something's an LB, then it probably is. We're all way smarter than we feel.
Steve

Thanks folks,
I think I knew this. It's just that she's been gone so many weekends without saying where she's going and to leave a message on her cell phone. I had locate D's birth certificate a few weeks ago, couldn't find it, left message on cell phone, and heard back 2 days later.
