Why does she keep calling? She should know by now that we are trying to work it out. Tonight she called 3 x. My husband does not leave the room. I know that is so I can trust him and hear their conversations. Sometimes I leave the room out of disgust. They are always simple work related questions. The affair is deffinatly over (they only had sex twice) but she is pregnant. He has told her he is trying to work it out with me and will, never leave his family. and is willing to pay her child support should the DNA reports prove it is his child too. No one else from work calls with these kind of questions. She better watch out if I answer the phone next time I'm tired of being Mrs. Nice Guy
Kris

I would be strongly tempted to tell my H to tell her that if she can't do her job without having to call him all the time with questions, maybe she's not qualified to do the job.
Is your H her boss? I hope not, because that puts him in a legally sticky situation.
I'm thinking the same thing you are....that she is just trying to start things up with him again.

Hi Kris
She wants you to LB your husband. She is trying her hardest to keep contact with him and for it to cause you to break. Be more loving towards him and yes answer the phone when she calls. Say somethig like : Hold on and then in your loudest voice shout Darling it's that silly female on the phone for you again. That should make her feel really good. HA Ha
Golly, you are a strong woman to put up with that pce of sh** calling your home. Where does she get off.
FET

She keeps calling because they had an affair. Is it ongoing still? How sure are you of this?
Your H needs to tell her DO NOT CALL ME ATHOME! Have her get someone elses number to call for "work related" questions.
------------------
Prayers & God Bless!
Chris
For relationship info check out Marriage & Relationship Resources

Yes this is a complicated situation - Yes he is her superior. You are right she must be trying to get me to act crazy which I havn't yet but am on the verge of. Now maybe I won't. It would just be a love buster on my part right? My husband did ask her not to call at home unless it was an emergency but she said she only calls when it is an emergency. And yes, I know the affair (it was only 2x) is over and my husband wishes it never happened. He does have a lot of guilt though because she is 22 years his junior and pregnant and she could be playing in to that. He swears what happened with her was more a result of him being unhappy with what was going on with us (she gave him a lot of admiration and I was putting him last amid 4 kids, house work etc.) We are trying hard to work it out and he is confused enough. She will always be part of our lives because of the pregnancy but I refuse to have it be a daily part!! I was going to go balistic on her (which I havn't about ANYTHING!!! yet) but I think I will hod my temper for now. Thanks for the good advice!
Kris

Hi,
Maybe not pick up the phone and let the answering machine pick up.
I never pick up the phone anymore. We just purchased a new house so every company and their dog insists upon calling to sell stuff or rope us into some type of package.
Just say H I love you but she needs to move on and by her talking to you every night three or four times is only causing her to have hope. Just let the answering machine pick up. She can finally start to know that we are comiteed and it will help her move on with her life. Try aproaching it like we are helping her know the relationship is over. Hence, you are LBing all over the place. Plus you send a message to her that hey stop calling.

Not picking up the phone won't work with a teenager in the house and i don't really want to explain to them why. I think I will continue to be positive and look at it like her calling is maybe LB fir her? I don't know.
Kris
