A woman was looking for a used car to buy and saw an ad in the classifieds. It read: Brand new 1995 Mercedes Benz, slate blue,<BR>loaded, etc. Sell for $150.00.<P>She was astonished and decided to call the seller and check it out. The woman selling the car was glad to show it to her and, to<BR>her surprise, the car was in perfect condition.<P>She asked the woman, "What's the catch? Why are you selling this car so cheaply?"<P>"Well," she said, "it's my husband's car actually, and he recently ran off with his young secretary. I got a telegram from<BR>him last week that read: 'In Miami. Need money. Sell car'."<BR>

I know a person that was betrayed by his wife. He walked in on the act. He immediately wanted a divorce, but first he sold all of their assets; boat, personal watercrafts, 4-wheel drive jeeps, etc. he took the $ to Vegas and blew it all, on purpose. So there would be nothing for her to get from the divorce! He did not even give her a chance. I wonder what she felt after the dust cleared. Besides having no toys to play with but her OM. You would have thought this would have deterred my H from starting his, the two are collegues and friends. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]

<BR>Sweetpea,<P>That story with the car is a well known urban legend. Surf the urban legend web pages and you'll see it in there. I admit its pretty funny, though.<P>Bystander
