Hi All,
I hope Lora finds it appropriate I ask you guys for prayers for her this week and week-end.
Her H may be leaving this week-end and Lora is feeling pretty bad. She hurts and is understandably very apprehensive about the separation.
I've had the opportunity to meet and get to know Lora, and she is just as sweet and caring as she comes off in her posts. She is also quite funny, makes me laugh on a regular basis.
Unfortunetly, probably everyone of us know what she must be feeling right now, so if you could please include her in your prayers I'd be very grateful.
I'm praying for God to give Lora strength and courage, that even tho this separation is unfair and unwanted by Lora, that God will use it to make her life richer and hopefully her marriage a better union one day.
Thank you everyone!
Prayers for all of us....
Jo
------------------
Josie_Res@Hotmail.com
"Remain flexible like a reed, as opposed to an oak which can snap in the wind"
[This message has been edited by Resilient (edited August 23, 2000).]
Hi Jo:
Yes, when I was reading the post about the "boxes" I thought about the finality of it all. How hard this must be. My H has never moved any of his stuff from my house and in a way it is a comfort to me.
But you know how I feel about finality. Nothing is really final unless we let it be...it is only for the time it takes to end.
So let him take all the stuff he wants...he can never take away all the memories and time they've spend together and that's always with her and, in a way, still with him, too. Maybe it is deep inside, but it's still there. Me, too, kid.
Buffy

I too am praying for Lora's strength and courage. God bless her, I know how she feels. It is all so fresh and painful for me to read her plea for trying to understand and cope.
And Buffy you are so right about the memories that she will always have, but those memories can also make this most unbearable, because some of us think of those memories as a forever bond between two people. The memories create the question, WHY?
Praying for Lora tonight, I share her pain and anquish.
Cathy

Catplay:
What I meant by having the memories is that that is something will take with him that is their's alone...their common memories...something that he cannot leave behind. These are strong...not easily forgotten...and they keeping popping up in the other relationship.
My H told me that he sat at his new home with OW and cried because he thought about my being in the kitchen cooking dinner and how I use to hum because it made me so happy. These are just the type of memories that bind us to them...and the type of memories that brought him home to me.
Buffy
I'll be praying . I remember those days myself.
Father, be with Lora, we ask that You move in this situation. Father we know You love us and want only the best for Your children. Therefore we put this seperation in Your hands, God we can't to pretend to like or understand every situation that comes into our lives, but we can trust You to work it out for our good and we ask that You work in this in such a way that Lora is comforted, her husbands eyes are opened and that You will recieve Glory from the way it works out, in Jesus name we ask it, Amen
------------------
Deb
Hepatitis C, Please educate yourself ! <A HREF="http://www.hepatitis-central.com/
In" TARGET=_blank>http://www.hepatitis-central.com/
In memory of a very dear friend http://fathom.org/teemingmillions/wally.adp

Lora, I will pray for you during this stressful time. You are a child of God. Blessed are those that mourn; God will comfort them.

Jo, you are such a good friend. I can't beleive you can worry about me when you have enough on your own to worry about. I thank God for sending me you as a friendat this time.
Buffy, Cathy,Deb, Lori and too trusting,
You all made me cry. I appreciate you praying and writting to me. I know how hard it is to see another in pain and not remember your own. I am so geatful for my friends here who know what I am going through without me having to be a great writter or good at expressing my feelings. You are all in my prayers too.
Lora
