Aloha, burnedspouse!
And here ya go!:
You were born 1/31/64 making you an Aquarius/(Water)Cat
You're H was born 4/15/61 making him an Aries/(Metal) Ox
Ox with Cat:
Cozy. Nestled against a solid-as-a-rock Ox, the Cat will hae plenty to purr over. The Ox brings the anxious Kitty security, allowing the Cat to spend time on creative activities without having to fret over money. Inreturn, the Cat, endowed with natural refinement, provides the courser counterpart with much-needed class. Cat has season tickets to the opera.
The Ox's bossiness is handily managed by a Cat, who usually opts out of conflict. Quitet and submisive, the Cat is happy to take a back seat and let the Bull bully, safe in the presence of a strong, forceful mate. To show gratitiude, the Cat lavishes love on the Ox but the self-sacrificing Ox finds excessive displays of affection difficult to endure - is sometimes so defensive about physical love that he almost believes those generous hugs are desinged
to poke fun.
This attitude could prove frustrating for the cuddly Cat who adores snuggling. But, in time, our feline friend will thaw the Oxen's iceberg of resistance and maybe even teach him a love trick or two.
If you love and want to keep your Metal Ox (Other Metal Oxes include Eddie Murphy, Princess Di, Michael J. Fox--1961 born):
Remember that you are expected to be not only faithful, loyal and true, but also dutiful, jolly and uptempo. Metal Ox often pushes hard to get to the top and may not bring home sufficient victory everday, so he will grow frustrated and often comes home in a foul temper - unreachable, lost in a haze of blue smoke and in a sulk.
At these times it is your job to either get him out of it or to get out yourself. You can argue, shout, reason but your Metal Ox will not accept criticism. He cannot tolerate reassessment of his methods or approach by anyone but himself. His pride gets in the way of his grey matter.
His denial of interference reveals another unfortunate side of this charming person's obstinate character. Metal Oxen tend to mistrust the judgement of those closest to them in favor of that of a perfect stranger.(!) A dangerous attitude as strangers may attempt to dupe him.
Also, don't ever ask an Ox man the classic, "Do you love me?" question and expect a decent answer. You will only elicit blushing and brooding, or sulking and grouchiness. Cornering an Ox male is worse than cornering any Rat and it only makes him even more tongue-tied. Don't try to turn this Ox guy into a Latin lover - even if he is one, he'll act more like a Hun. If he does love you - and his is perfectly capable of great, undying, long-suffering love - the Ox man will demonstrate his love in the only ways he knows how: you maky find all the wood you need for your fireplace for a year piled up outside your door, or a leather bankbook in your name with several thousand dollars deposited therein under your pillow, or a shiny new Range Rover in your garage. Usually he will not hand the present to you - he is too diffident or afraid of surprise to dare such a gesture. He is annoyingly timid, but enormously generous, with those he loves. But don't count on the Ox for cheap frills: he will never, like the spendthrift Monkey male, buy you a $1,000
nightie.
He is conservative, he does not like to take risks, he is not an able one-to-one communicator. He loves his property and improving on it. He likes to putter, tinker, repair, garden.
In love the Ox male is constant yet physicaly unfaithful (don't get discouraged here! My sign says the same about me!) He loves profoundly and supports and sticks firmly by his family commitments. He will always be there when his partner needs him. But the Ox man does not consider sexual love to be in the same league as married love and devotion. To him, love and sex are separate. He is sensual and loves the good life. He is addicted to comfort, fine food and wine and is fairly easy to please so long as these needs are seen to.
As an Aries/Ox: No ideal love is too ideal, no miraculous fidelity more faithful than that which Aries/Ox offers a mate. (!) Aries/Oxen love with quiet compact passion. This is a forceful lover on whom you can count for security.
You cannot, however, count on Aries/Ox for imaginative loving. He won't go out of his way just to please or seduce you. Remember that sex is of secondary importance to the Aries/Ox. First comes achievement (or disgruntlement, depending on that stage). Syrupy poetry makes Aries/Ox want to puke (verbatim--I swear!). Aries/Ox will take his love straight up without so much as a lemon twist. O yes, thanks, maybe an ice cube or two.
What appeals to Aries/Ox partners are qualities like folksiness and hominess and coziness and earnestness. Fill their beds with hot water bottles and dab essence of vanilla behind your ears. Eschew frippery. To turn on an Aries/Ox you needn't gild the lily. Just get out there in the woods and start gathering nuts and berries. A love affair with an Aries/Ox saves on sexy aftershave or buying him satin sheets. Buy him a powertool for his birthday or a new sump pump for Christmas, and the Aries/Ox will give years of trouble-free service.
As a Water/Cat you share a birth year with Tatum 0'Neil and Nicholas (ooh la la) Cage and lo and behold, my sweetie!
Actually, they are 1963 born but because of how the Chinese New Year for the Cat began January 25, 1963 and ended Februaruy 12, 1964, you share their sign.
You are more "female" than most other type of Cats. You are more squeamish than most and shy away from physical illness, disabibility, emotional and mental instability, cannot tolerate the sight of blood and nearly pass out at the idea of an injection. (Pick and choose what you like out of this but the majority is sooo much my H that I had to include it!)
I'll stick to love: True love and commitment often escape this character's clutches. She falls in love easily and is enthralled by romance. Yet the Water Cat won't fight for his rightful position in relationships, rarely speaks of his innermost feelings and keeps her own counsel when confronted by the threat of conflict. Her dream love is so idealized and vague that she often makes grave errors when seeking a mate, so carried away with the ideal that she forgets how difficult it is to live out one's dreams. (Think Tatum O'Neil and John McInroe, here!)
An Aquarius/Cat will want to live as half a couple in marriage and have children. As she will be the emissary-to-the-world type, she will surely seek a calm and sensitive partner who comprehends her need for attention and comfort. These people eschew harshness in partners, as they don't like conflict and avoid it at all costs. The Aquarius/Cat is looking for an intellectual equal who knows how to be entertained--a nice, open-minded person who will laugh at the Aquarius/at's jokes.
You will never bore your H. Sometimes he may want to turn off the plethora of information spilling forth from your mouth!
But mostly you are steady and oh, so respectable. Aquarian Cats are fairly even-tempered, too, and scarcely ever neurotic.
And there you are!
I'm pretty please by your compatiblity! Hope you enjoyed it. Pick and choose what you like. Some things may be way off the mark because of how you were raised or life experiences, stations or conscious choices either of you have made.
Aloha,
Leilana

Thanks!! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
it almost seems that a lot of it is the opposite. He should have mine and I should have a lot of his. It suits our nature better. But it still means we're compatible!
![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif)

Seriously?!
Now that's unusual but I'm glad you're still compatible. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/wink.gif)
See ya later Putty-Tat!
Leilana
[This message has been edited by Leilana (edited August 30, 2000).]

L-
Okay I reread it very slowly. the part about the Ox personality is correct except the puttering and household intersts. Pool only there!
Right on the $ ab. S*x, his lack of imagination does not alter the fact that He wants interesting s*x. Self centered in bed, isn't that like a man?
As far as I go, the cat, I DO speak my mind about what I want, nobody listens!
What is wanting to live as "half a couple?" Alone? No way!
I was never neurotic, enevenly tempered until I had to deal with sibling rivalry and a H who wouldn't confide in me! My H is the one who avoids conflict at all costs, not me. I deal appropriately. Though for years with H, I tried to goad him into conflicts just so he would blow up at me, anything for conversation, right? It never worked, he just ran away faster.
Thanks again. Especially making me look at this again. I understood it better the 2nd time! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)

I think being "half of a couple" meant being part of a couple. You WANT to be married and have children.
I don't remember if it's in there or not but it mentioned something about you being a cuddler and snuggler. I thought that was cute. That sure describes my H. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/wink.gif)

Leilana
yes I am a cuddler, big time. as a matter of fact even at my most sad and pained days, I want to hug my H. He has always been there for me--18 yrs--I seem not to be able to do without his comfort, even though he is the cause! I look to the safety of his arms, which he readily gives, but they aren't safe are they?
