I had gotten caller ID and saw that she calls every AM, early. H never gets up early for me ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/frown.gif)
Anyway, I went in late to work this AM and sure enough she called. I said is that you OW, no answer. I said, I know you are having and Affair with my H. I know you were in our trailer and house. I don't know what kind of woman does that. I love my H and will continue to fight for our marriage. I want you to stop calling my home and if you continue I will consider it harassment. Do you understand? Then she hung up.
I felt strong for letting her know I knew and for setting some bounderies for myself. I am ready for any fallout. H was off today, not home this afternoon and still no sign of packing. What do you think?
Lora

Just as having a name and a face of the OW makes it so much more real for us, I believe that now that she has heard your voice and gotten a taste of how you feel, she may have some strange feelings about what she is doing. I believe a lot of these guys tell the OW that their marriages are loveless and roommate situations, that they stay for the kids and the security. If she knows there is love and you intend to keep your man, she may try harder to get him or she may get a rude awakening that you are real with real feelings, and she is scum.
I think you did a good thing.

Many tears,
I hope so, time will tell I guess if it has any effect.
Popeye, I feel honored that you think I did good. Yes, I wanted to let her know I was real and maybe he was not telling her all of the truth.
Dazed,
I felt strong (but shakey) Actually 2 different people at work told me how strong I seemed and how much I had grown in the past year.
Lora

I hope you shocked her to her little brown loafers, or whatever. You planted something today, Lora.

Congrads Lora, way to set your boundaries.
It's always amazing to me what OW think they can get away with. H usually can't control them because they're afraid to lose their fantasy life if they try. Somebody has to tell them that there are lines you just don't cross...and repercussions if you do.
Mine was coming to our place of business while I was there...I threw her out and she has never been back. H just got that 'deer in the highlight' look in his eyes and looked helpless and did nothing. Somethings you do just have to do for yourself.
Buffy

Well, looks like the b***h called to ascertain her chances and to evaluate what the wife really is about and where she stands.
Good for you that you let her know that you mean business. Many OW need to know as much about the wife as possible. Some are callously blatant and need to know that there are legal repercussions to their nuisance antics before they realise that the wife is not such a softie doormat.
I still feel you need to protect yourself and your assets. That is my approach after learning that the man I trusted with all my heart can go astray.
May the Good Lord Bless You.

Thanks FHL and Lor,
I still think I did the right thing.
Buffy,
Maybe thats why I can't see myself in the OW role. Not enough gall to carry it off.
Weep,
I am trying to keep my head and protect myself though this.
Dazed,
No repercussions yet, H was off yesterday, was gone, came home after I was in bed around 1. Now I might be faced with how to get him to move out of the house as he seems to think he can just sleep here and continue doing his thing.
Lora
I agree with Popeye - once OW actually spoke with me on the phone - we had two LONG conversations, both in tears, etc. that is when my H said she started to change a bit. She was truly torn as she fell completely for him, but realized that it would tear a family apart. She also realized that my H was painting a HORRIBLE picture of me and once she talked with me she realized that he actually is a pretty lucky guy and told him so. She insisted he work honestly on his marriage. Mind you, she did go back and forth for awhile, because she did want him, but couldn't go through with it. So anyway - what Popeye said I think is true in some cases, once they know that the spouses are real people they reconsider.
Well done, btw!
