Survivor!!!!
I was trying to reply to the post you had out there for me! I do apologize for not putting out an SOS on you sooner than you put one out on me! I figured you were enjoying your vacation, and when you were returning, I was leaving for our vacation in SC.
Things are going great. I've been promoted at work, so to say the least, I've been working about 12-14 hours a day, and no time for me to play with MB. Today was the first time, gosh, in probably a month? that I've been able to reply!
I can't believe we're renewing our vows on your Birthday! Hey...I'm a Virgo too!! My birthday is the 13th! Go figure... [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Our vacation consisted of staying in the same house with my H and 13 of his immediate family members. And I'm (still) shocked to say, that it was probably the most wonderful vacation I have ever been on with H!!!!
We just had the best time. I can't even begin to explain the difference of no alcohol makes.
How are things with you? I've been meaning to email you, and I hope you except my apologies for not emailing yet.
How's the H? How was vacation? Have you settled down since the tiff with H being out of touch before he showed up for your vacation?
H finally found a summer "no a$$" beer as he calls it. The St. Pauli's Girl stuff. Has your H tried that? He does like the O'Douls Amber Ale. I think for the fall and winter he's going to try out the new Guiness "no a$$". I kind of like that expression. It's cute.
Better run back to my duties. Fill me in! I can't wait to hear all about it! If you want me to email you, just let me know. I'll email you from my work email, but I don't want to post it here as it's my real name!
"E" ya soon! [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
--purplemag
PS - sorry for the edit - I had a couple of "clerical errors" and they bugged me when I reread what I wrote!
[This message has been edited by purplemag (edited September 06, 2000).]

Hi Purplemag!
Don't worry about your delay in responding. To tell you the truth, I don't check on the MB forum everyday. In fact, it has only been lately, that I've been lurking around and reading some of the posts. I don't reply very much, but I do like to keep updated on how our friends on MB are doing.
Did I tell you that I just dropped that problem with what went on during vacation? I just said, "Okay" to his explanation and it was whatever goes. He seemed surprised that I was even asking him. I have no idea what is the truth, or what isn't because of being in another state. So, I felt, I won't stress over it. I'll just see how our relationship goes.
I had extended my vacation and was there for almost 2 months. It was heavenly and I was able to renew my mind, relax and just have fun. It was stress free. What an awesome feeling!
My H has been really good to me. When I got home from vacation, he had some beautiful flowers and a card for me at home. We have been spending a lot of quality time together. He even commented that he feels that things are so good between us and that he's happy.
Although things are better between us, I still feel somewhat detached. Could it be some kind of emotional delay or weird sense of withdrawal? I really don't know. Have you felt this way? I try not to show it to him, because I'm really confused as to what I am feeling. I'm just wondering if this is normal.
Anyway, I'm happy that you had a great & wonderful vacation. What a way to start all over, eh?
I think that it is cool that our birthday's are on the same month. What else do we have in common? LOL!
Gotta go but e-mail me whenever you can. I'd love to keep in touch with you and hear from you. E-mail address is greyriders_wife@yahoo.com OR alecris@webtv.net
Whatever you prefer. Hope to hear from you soon!
