Does anyone else do this? You know my H has always denied the affair. After awhile I start to doubt myself.
I actually went out in the trailer and looked to make sure I really saw long black hairs out there. Maybe I am going crazy. HELP!
Lora

No you're not nuts. I've felt the same way. My H seemed so sincere in his denials that I believed him for five months. I think now he believes his own lies - that makes him seem even more sincere. But I know that everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie right now.

Yep- I've done the same thing- not with hair, but you get my drift.
My H, who hates liars and has never been one himself, came to be very good at it. And since I always saw him as an honest man and a committed H, I had a lot of trouble believing he was capable of this. He truly became a person I didn't even know.

Trapped Mom and Cloudy,
Glad I am not the only one. My H used to be a terrible liar too. I think he started with lies of ommission and worked his way up to outright lies. I think he may beleive it himself also.

Lets see, maybe they are the crazy ones. Calls this woman daily, including when we are on vacation and takes her camping and he thinks they are just friends? Sounds nuts to me.
Lora

Ummm....ask him to define friendship. Ask if he would do all he has done with OW to his male friends, and watch his face turn... ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/shocked.gif)

Lora,
My H denied the affair for 8 months. Then denied further contact for 10 months. I thought I was going nuts as well, wanting to believe him, but believing him made everything else he did SO confusing. At least when you know about the affair, you have a frame of reference for the crazy, contradictory behavior.
