In short... Wife had an affair with one of our divorced friends from church three years ago. This man attended Promises Keepers evangelisim training with me She was all over this guy for 6 to 8 months. Got pregnant came back to work things out (she would say came back and then found out she was pregnant). Anyway, IMHO she never really tried to work things out and 7 months ago moved out of the bedroom and stopped wearing her wedding ring.
End of December she tells me she wants a divorce just because she dosn't feel in love anymore. She says there is no one else... We went to counseling a few times and she (IMHO) uses it as an exit strategy to show everyone she really tried and it just didn't work out.
She is being really nice about requesting support and spliting the property etc... still tells me there is no one else. She hasn't told her parents yet about wanting the divorce but says she plans to shortly.
My relatives blind copy me on emails she sends them and she tells them that she is praying to do the right thing. She acts so sweet..
Today, minutes ago, I heard proof that she is having an affair again (still?) with this same guy and has all kinds of plans for the future with him...
Questions:
1) Do I confront her about this?
2) Do I share this information with her family?
3) It is really tears me apart to know that she wants to eventually move in with this guy and have him act like a father to my kids!!!!! Any thoughts.
THANKS IN ADVANCE.
T2
Brother
I wish I knew more what to tell you but I do not. I am in a similar situation where my wife is no longer in love with me and just had an affair. I am in constant prayer for myself but I really feel led to pray for you but sorry I can not advise more than one Phrase-PRAY and BELIEVE.
Lord
Please help T2 in this situation and I pray in the name of Jesus that his wife and the other man would see the error of their ways and turn from their ways I claim Isaih 2:6 &7 and put a wall around this woman that she would not return to her sin but would rather return to her first husband , You. I pray that you keep this most sacred of relationships together and reconcile all of it
In Jesus Name
Amen

Thanks for the prayer support! I think this one has to be turned around by a higher power.
I read your profile and it sure sounds similar to my situation. The claims of Jesus and his teachings sure were clear to me about sexual sin and I thought (up until a few years ago) they were also clear to my wife. However, I was wrong. I am not sure how someone can turn their back on their marriage and family let alone choose to sin and damage (destroy?) their relationship with the savior. Through all of this I am sure she understands that she is sinning and my telling her that or hinting at it does not or has not helped to bring her back into right relationship with me or our Creator. I am trying to model Plan A and meet her needs as Jesus might without bringing up her sin(s).
3 years ago when we ended the divorce it was to the Glory of God. He can turn things around and does! I pray that I have the grace to accept whatever happens and see Him working in it to make me more like Him.
Praying for you.
T2
Triumph2@mail.com
