As if things weren't bleak enough, my manager gave me a head's up today. Apparently they have hired someone to fill my position. I was sort of surprised because I didn't know my position was open. Well, she warned me that by the end of August, it will be, so I need to get my resume in order and start my job search. I have a couple manager who are defending me, but when the CFO wants you gone so they can hire their friends, can anyone say anything in your defense.
Of course, I've been real upbeat all day. I mean, there comes a point when all you can do is laugh at life.
I told my H today that I was probably going to be crying a lot more now. He raised his hands in the air and cheered that at least it wasn't his fault. It was so funny. But he told me that we would get through this together. He would not dump me jobless and homeless out on the street. He even told me not to take the first job that was offered just to have a job. He told me that I can be picky even if it takes a little longer. That was so sweet. I immediately started crying. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
By the way, Annc, I'm in the DFW area. Of course, I won't be going to Dr. Phil's seminar now. We can't spend any money on that since I don't know how long I'll have a paycheck. I see on your profile that you are in Houston. I have a lot of family there.
So, keep me in your prayers. I think I'll be need some double time with the Lord these days.

Lapiene - Take heart in your husbands positive responses. You will find a job. And maybe you should be picky. You're worth it!
Kris
