Greetings to all desiring Marriage Reconciliation:
I've been involved in praying for reconciliation for 13 years and have learned alot.
1) God's will is for all Marriages to be reconciled, as it is His will for all to be saved and have a personal loving relationship with Him.
2) Because of God's One-Flesh design in marriage only one of the two is needed to effect reconciliation. This is my case and because of this my wife has been unable to re-marry someone else. It is a great comfort to know you can protect your spouse from anothers affection because of this unique relationship God has designed for Marriage.
3) As long as one will deal with all sin God is laying before them, and continue to love their spouse without condition, as Jesus Christ loves us, their marriage, in God's time will be restored with a new wonderful love for each other. I have been given this great new love for my wife as a reward for my faithfulness. God rewards those who diligently seek Him. ( Heb 11:6)
Praying for all those desiring Marriage Reconciliation,
In His Precious Love, for all,
Tom

I agree with you that God is the key to restoration and have been praying for that in my marriage, but I have a question. Have you been separated from your spouse for 13 years and still praying for restoration??? I don't think I could possibly make it that long. The desire of my heart is to have a family and my biological clock is ticking.

[This message has been edited by city girl (edited August 17, 2000).]

Tom,
I was interested in point 2. What exactly do you mean. I agree with you, but you say because of the one-flesh condition your wife has been unable to marry.
Does that mean she just hasn't because God has intervened through your praying, or is there a legal reason why not. I agree with your post, I was just interested in clarification.
Thanks
