I confronted my H about his affair 18 mths ago. He confessed, told me all & ended it. We went to a marriage counselor and were doing great. Just like newlyweds, he swore it would never happen again. I told him the next time would be the last time. Well...I have been having that feeling for a couple of months and yesterday overheard a phone call. I asked him and he denied it. I am no fool, I know my cat did not make the phone call. I dropped the subject but now he knows I suspect & will be even more careful to cover his tracks. Now my dilemma, I am not ready to end the marriage (like I threatened.) Am I nuts to keep being a doormat? He acts fine around me, loving & attentive, we have a good sex life & I know he loves me and doesn't want a divorce. I just think it is an illness. Please help me. I don't know where to go from here.
