Has anyone used Spector on their computer, or know anything about it? Or maybe I am wrong to want something like this.
I don't think my husband is being honest with me about his online activities.

Well , I have used both KEYKEY and netnanny to find out way more about what my Ex to be an my teenage daughter have been up to ...and Just had to address my daughters activities ( drug use and drinking ) and the stuff with my ex ( romantic e-mails and such ) I feel like a jerk , but it's stuff i thought I needed to know , but when it all comes down to , is had I been a better person I wouldn't need to spy on anyone.....But you'll still want to do it , just be careful with what you do with the resulting info.....

Gary,
Just a question to you about your LBing to no end. Did you show your W some of the information regarding an affair? Had she previously denied it? Just curious, because I have plenty of this stuff that I could share, but haven't yet. I don't plan to, but someday if she comes back and comes clean, I want to match everything up. Just so I know if she is lying still.
What happened in your case? Sorry to bust in on the post!
Thanks.

Yes, Ive used Spectorsoft.com , and its great, I found out about it after my W's EA but used it to keep her accountable, it worked several times and she even knew it was running. USed it for my kids chat stuff and had to yank his internet useage, its a great tool, Privacy is a PRIVLEGE. it must be earned like trust, as for kids, I no problem using it atall in the world and the ease of access to the net.
And for spouses, its so easy to say things and get involved over the net like never before. Peole say things they would never say in person or even over thephone.
I highly suggest it. It runs totally behind the scene , password protected, no knows its there but you. Cheap insuracne for about $70 bucks.

------------------
jnvc

I just installed eBlaster, which is a little different than Spector. It actually e-mails you reports. I finally caved in a bought it after I found out my husband had posted his profile on Excite classifieds.

I have a question for anyone using KEYKEY. I installed it a few days ago on my computer and when I go to generate a report I get a screen called notepad with nothing on it. For some reason I'm not accessing it right. I see a few icons called log, and another on which I cann't remember. How do you access the report to monitor what's been typed on your computer??

Hi Cindi,
Just out of curiosity, does your H know you installed the software? If he does, how does he feel about it? I've been wanting to ask my H to install it on his PC at work. Not so much to spy, but more to see if it will help with our situation. Like Dogbert has it installed on his PC with his W holding the login/password.
--BJ

My husband does not know that it is on the computer. I don't know if I will tell him. This program is pretty good. I already know his secret password, which he has always refused to tell me.

Cindi,
Just be prepared on what you might find. It's always hard when you find out something you don't want to. I'll tell you now that with me, the first thing that happened is my face got hot with fury then I got that unbearable anxiety. Nervousness and wanting to vomit. I know it seems extreme, but that initial "finding out" is really a bummer.
Take Care
--BJ
BJ--
I hear what you are saying. Last week I found out he had posted an ad on a personals web site. (Which is why I bought the program) Let's just say I did not spend Thanksgiving with my husband. At this point I really don't think I will find out anything that I have not already discovered.
[This message has been edited by Cindiwa (edited November 29, 2000).]

I've wanted to sneak somethng on my H's work computer which is where he does everything. Any suggestions on how to get that accomplished? How long does it take to install? I like the idea of eBlaster sending me reports on a different computer.

For those of you that have used Specre or eBlaster, what do you do with the information you have acquired and when eBlasters emails reports, how does it send the file with the spouse seeing?

You can get the software at spectorsoft.com It works really well. So far I haven't done anything with what I have found. So far he has just been looking at porn. No EA, at least over the internet.
