Is there a chat room you all go to when you want to real time chat?? I'd love to be able to chat at certain times...

new_beginning,
Since many folks' affairs began on-line, in the "real-time" world of chat, many of us tend to avoid that medium.

------------------
RobinAnn
*********
Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape!

loveWASblind,
I was just quoting the "party line". ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
I've seen the ICQ numbers too. I don't know how many of us participate that way.
If memory serves me correctly, Dr. Harley was asked about a chat area on the MB site and he didn't think it was wise.
Sometimes real-time chatting would be great but I don't know of any place where people chat. (I know the Vaughan-Vaughan site has a chat area.)
------------------
RobinAnn
*********
Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape!

My $.02 woth. I much prefer the forum style to real-time chat. I think it makes for much more thoughtful discussions and less cliquish behavior, fewer flames, etc., etc. If you ever read through a transcript of a chat vrs. a forum printout, I think you'll see what I'm saying. Plus 3/4 of chats seems to me to be devoted to people saying hello and goodbye. Plus this kind of forum is pretty close to real-time anyway.
--Wex
