Azure....I was reading what you replied to Sad4Now....about OW who mysteriously try to contact our spouses after 6+ plus of No Contact.
I am a W who just experienced this 2 weeks ago and it has really frustrated me. I just couldn't understand why anyone would humiliate themselves and try to weasel their way back in after a 9 month (in our case) absence?? Just seems so stupid!
I didn't even think that it could be the OW's ego. I sure was glad that my H wrote her the No Contact letter. Sure made me feel better and probably broke her heart. Tough SH*T on her!

Isnt enough enough?
I think ego plays a major part in affairs.
In fact it may ALL be about ego.
good luck! did she stop making contact, I HOPE SO.
Hi Azure!
I was so relieved when my H wrote that OW NOT to ever contact him at home or work again. It was nice to see it in writing.
I just hope that she abides by this. He told her back in February that she didn't mean anything to him and then he dumped her...but then, I think he felt guilty about being so cold to her, and sent her a b-day gift in March (boy... did I flip out on that one! as if she deserved it??!!)
Since then, as far as I know, there hasn't been any contact. That's why I can't understand her need to contact him after all this time. She must still be living in her fantasy world, hoping for what can NEVER be.
Throughout most of the year, my H has been with me & kids (majority of his free time spent with us, went to therapy, gave up alcohol, calls daily from work to talk, accounts for his time, extremely affectionate, buys gifts, says he is happy, etc...) I can't see where he would have spent any time with her. He keeps saying that he wasn't in his right state of mind because of all that alcohol consumption. He regrets everything and wishes it never happenned. He says that, when he looks back, he can't even believe that it was him doing all those bad things.
I guess this OW has been thinking about him all this time, and is "testing the waters."
I just wish he never responded to her e-mail in the first place. But, glad that I immediately caught it and he initiated that NO CONTACT letter. Trust your woman's intuition!
I hope we don't hear from her another 6 months from now! No telling what I will do.... One of the people that replied to my other Post said that if me & my H keep showing her a "united front," then that will give her the message.
Anyway, I'm rambling. Thanks again for replying. I'll be reading your Posts!
