My H stays out late and sometimes lies about where he's been. Recently I found condoms in his drawer. <P>We have had a very rocky year; I almost moved out last summer but he threatened a custody battle. I stayed and I thought we were supposed to be working on the marriage. We share no intimacy on any level. <P>I confronted him about the lies and the condoms. He says his therapist suggested the condoms when he said masturbating was uncomfortable.<P>Can this be true? I want to believe him, but this is a stretch for me. Well I supposed it could be true but it does not make any sense. I for one would not believe it.

When I asked my XH about his condom stash he told me that he bought them to just in case he ever wanted to have sex with me again. I never asked again. That was the stupidest excuse I’d ever heard.

He seemed to go through an awful lot of condoms so I inventoried them to make sure I was not making things up. Put a small number in one corner and kept a record of when I first found a particular condom and when it was no longer in his stash. I know this sounds weird but it help me feel not so crazy. It was not long before I found that he was going through more condoms then the average h… house. Besides the stash in his closet.. the one he did not know I was aware of. I found them in his glove box, his brief case, and his trunk and in the toolbox in his trunk.

Sorry if I’m alarming you but I have a real sore spot with this topic as you can tell.

Look at the bright side: You know what's going on, and at least if you are ever sexual with each other again, there's minimal confort in knowing that he was using protection in his encounters. Condoms aren't 100% sure, but he IS using them.<P>As for masturbating with condoms, LOL. I'm a woman, and I know that's ridiculous.
