I've read through this entire site so I have some feel for what's going on here and I really respect the support. I just have to say or write this because I can't seem to breath and I can't believe this happened.
It's been two hours since I walked into my in-law's house [they're away] and found my husband of ten years having sex with a women on their living room floor. Thank goodness I left the baby in the car because he had just fallen asleep. Husband was supposed to be working but I received a call from his boss who wanted to talk with him. Seems work was cancled for the evening. When I caught up with him by phone at his parents house something just didn't sound right so I decide to stop by.
My head hurts, I'm in shock, I can't believe what I just saw, my best friend is not home and I want to scream. The baby is in bed, I can't work, I can't think, I can't stop the images from replaying over and over again in my head.

I am so sorry. It is always hard when you find out the person you love is unfaithful, I can't imagine catching them in the act. Just know that there are many here that know what you are going through and you will always find support. Have you talked to H since it happened? Hang in there and keep posting. You will receive lots of good advice.
june

Oh my, please believe it when I say that I understand your devastation. No one could possibly understand unless they have experienced it on their own. It is absolutley numbing. You are going to go thru soooo many emotions.
I am sorry for what has happened.
My H had an affair and unfortunately we seperated for 18 months. It was very painful. However, we have now been in recovery 10 months and our marriage is better than it ever was.
I wish you strength.

Dear In Shock,
I'm so sorry you had to see that and that you are so hurt right now. You've read through the site..Start Plan A immediately. Get the book After An Affair either from a bookstore or from this site. It is possible to get through this and save your marriage.
Hang in there, come back for all the support you need.
T

Dear ISAN,
My heart is with you, Shock. Just know that for a few days you are going to feel numb in some ways, and look at that as a blessing. It will help you to gear up, help get your thoughts and emotions together. All of us here who've been through this are with you in prayer and spirit. Just know you can reach out to us any old time you want to, or feel the need to.
Listen to the others' advice re: reading and re-reading, if you must, all of the basic material on this wonderful site. Know, too, that you WILL survive--and as time passes, you will get stronger. It may not seem that way right now, but believe me, it's true. Just hang on--take some deep breaths and remember that you are the one who was wronged. There is no excuse for cheating in a marriage, and God will help you through this terrible time.
God bless...
Winny
