I have been living elsewhere for two weeks. (since telling my wife about affair) She wants to get a legal separation. We have two children. I am confused because she says she wants to work it out. I feel we need to work together to resolve this issue and start to rebuild our relationship. I have been lost for these last two weeks. i truly miss her and my children. I want to regain that trust, but doing it apart seems detrimental. Please help.

To NeedmyWife, I am A BS and I found out about A 1 month ago my H was having this A for almost ayear behind my back,i found out about through his e-mail (left the computer on under his name.) Its only been 2 weeks? that she found out about A, she probably needs time for everything to sink in I know I did, if she says she wants to work things out just give her some space and hopefully she will come around.I see you have 2 kids, I have 3 and my H doesn't want to work things out, says he is not in contact with OW but he is not happy in marriage I think the kids suffer the most. You seem like you really will do anything to make M work have your W and you thought about counseling?I am sure that would do some good. The trust that your W had in you is going to take a long time to come back at least that's how I feel as BS, You have to earn it. Keep reading and posting I just joined this site also and there have been many helpful people with experience who can really guide and help. Have you ever tried posting in the General Questions Forum? thats where I ask a lot of my ?. This seems like a forum also I will also post here to. Well take care and good luck let me know how everything works out sorry I couldn't give you more advice, I am new at this. Sally

Thank you sally. Yes we have started to see a counsler.<BR>I think I have been smothering her, by seeing her. She has told me this. I know I have destroyed that fragile bond of trust between us. I guess im just anxious to show her that I wiil change. I would do anything for her.
