I went to my first counseling session two days ago. The counselor suggested that I request my H to do one thing: stop seeing our sister-in-law (his brother's wife) without either myself or his brother present. He refuses. He feels this is baby-sitting. He also won't go to the counselor, either with me or without me.
He hasn't admitted to anything with her, either EA or physical. He says it is all in my imagination, spurred on by the fact that he did have a very short cybersex affair with someone he used to work with. He's admitted to that one, and I believe him that it was this person and that it is over. What he doesn't see is how much it hurts me that he's gotten (at least) emotionally close to our sister-in-law. He's defended her lies; tried to justify her gossiping. I've caught them several times whispering behind both my and his brother's back. He's even told me that she's told him things I confided in her. Whenever we all go out to dinner, my H wants to sit closer to the SIL than I do. She's having problems in her marriage, too, so I can see why she might need him. I guess it all comes down to that I don't trust HER, and I'm having a really hard time lately trusting him (the cybersex thing only happened two months ago).
The counselor feels I'm justified to have these feelings; I think that angers my H. He won't even visit this site and he doesn't like that I do; he describes it as an infomercial. He has, however, spied on me out here to see what I've posted.
So, what now?

Is your conselor MB practitioner ?, get educated with EN, LBank/LBusters, plan A/B. A lot of people having hard time with MB, even BS like me. It tries to get you to let go of you WS and better your self and wait for WS to choose. If WS is back there are enough protection for WS & BS to have M based on love and trust.
