Just found out about H's affair. He was working out of town for about 3/4 months. During this time he met up with an old school friend, and as he puts it they spend a lot of time together. Nothing sexual happened he says. But he left his hotmail account open on the PC and I - having concerns before hand- snoop. I saw the valentine'd day exchange between them, and other expressions of love between the them. He claims he never intended to hurt me and that the reason nothing happen sexually. He further states that they knew it had to come to an end at some point.
I am hurt, confused, don't know what to do. I don't believe this is the first A for my husband, but this is the first time that I have any proof. He has not confessed to anything else. We have been married for almost 7 years - he says he may not be innocent, but he is squaky clean!
I am lost right now! LadyCQ,
Welcome to MB. I remember the feelings I experienced when I first found out. My best advice is to read everything on this site. Also read the article Shattered Vows at www.findarticles.com. The site www.dearpeggy.com is also helpful.
You will be on an emotional rollercoaster for awhile. This is normal. Come here and post for support. There are really wonderful, caring people here. They helped me through the worst spots.
Also, tell us more about your story. You don't say whether your H wants to continue your M or not. Do you have children, etc.? Even if your H did not have sex with the OW, it is still an A -- www.dearpeggy.com talks about this.
Our thoughts are with you in this difficult time.
FHO

Thank you hopelessone.
I have not gotten to the point of asking that question yet. but it would appear that he want the marriage to continue - as he puts it - he has always wanted to be with me, and if that wasn't the case then he would change it!
I have two children from a previous marriage - he has none. However when we met my daughter was 2 years old - she has had not relationship with her biological father and so my husband is the only father she knows.
I will certainly look up that articles and check ou the site you recommended.
THanks for the support!
